Messy Play for Babies & Toddlers Near Leyton, Walthamstow and Leytonstone
Updated July 2026
We're often asked whether Tots Messy Club runs in Walthamstow or Leytonstone specifically. Short answer: not yet -- we run from one venue, Jubilee Park in Leyton, E10. Longer answer: for most families across Waltham Forest, that's a genuinely short trip, so here's exactly how close it is and what to expect.
Getting to Jubilee Park
- From Walthamstow: around a mile from Walthamstow Central -- a direct bus takes roughly 9 minutes, or it's a short drive.
- From Leytonstone: Leyton is the very next stop on the Central line, so it's one stop on the tube, or a short drive.
- From Stratford: Leyton sits on the Central line directly between Stratford and Leytonstone, so it's one stop the other direction.
- By tube: Leyton station (Central line) is about a 20-minute walk from the park.
- By train: Leyton Midland Road is closer, around a 16-minute walk.
- By bus: the 58 and 158 both stop nearby.
- By car: free on-site parking for up to 3 hours, including some disabled bays.
What to expect from a session
Sessions are for babies and toddlers aged 6 months to 4 years, and run for an hour. Parents and carers stay and join in throughout -- it's not a drop-off class. We provide all the materials (paint, water, sensory bins and more, rotating week to week). Old clothes are a good idea; a change of clothes and a towel even more so.
